El Toro High School Senior Photos: Elizabeth’s Golden Hour Graduation Session

July 24, 2025 Class of 2025, Orange County Photographer, Orange County Senior Session

Sporty, sentimental, and glowing with confidence – a celebration of where she’s been and where she’s headed.

As an Orange County senior photographer, there’s nothing better than getting to photograph seniors I’ve known for years. Elizabeth’s session was extra special — I’ve worked with her family on multiple family sessions over the years, so I was truly honored to help her celebrate this next chapter with a custom senior portrait experience.

Elizabeth is a proud member of the El Toro High School Class of 2025 and a standout athlete in both track and field and cross country. This fall, she’s headed to Concordia University in Irvine, and her senior photos beautifully captured both her accomplishments and her personality.

We started her session in a San Juan Capistrano wildflower field during golden hour and its one of my favorite locations as an Orange County senior photographer. Elizabeth chose a timeless, casual look for her first outfit: jeans and a white t-shirt. It was the perfect nod to her laid-back, athletic style and really allowed her natural confidence to shine through. It worked perfectly with her letterman's jacket which we wanted to highlight her sport achievements!

For her second look, she changed into something incredibly meaningful — a vintage floral dress that belonged to her grandmother. Her grandmother bought the dress in Sweden as a teenager using one of her first paychecks. I love when we’re able to incorporate sentimental family heirlooms into sessions — it adds such depth and connection to the portraits.

Elizabeth looked absolutely radiant, thanks in part to my amazing glam team. Michelle Fallman Beauty kept her makeup soft and natural, making sure Elizabeth still looked like herself in every frame. Erin, our hairstylist, worked with Elizabeth’s naturally curly hair to give it volume, polish, and bounce — no over-styling, just enhancing her beautiful texture.

A few days later, we met again at the El Toro High School track to document another big part of Elizabeth’s story: her success as a student-athlete. She brought her cross country uniform, track spikes, and just a few of the many medals she’s earned over the years. From her confident stance on the track to the joy in her smile, you could tell how proud she was of all she’s accomplished.

This senior session was everything I love about being an Orange County senior photographer — personal, meaningful, and deeply reflective of the person in front of my lens.

Congratulations, Elizabeth — I can’t wait to see what you do next!
