San Diego State Grad Session!

Congrats Payton! Class of 2021!


I was thrilled when Payton's stepmom (who I am friends with) asked if I'd make the trek from Orange County to San Diego to capture Payton's graduation photos on the campus of San Diego State University. I had never been to the campus so I was excited to check it out..... and boy, did it live up to the hype. Absolutely gorgeous and the best backdrop for grad photos! Those blooming trees, the mission inspired architecture, and the turquoise accents around campus are a photographers dream. Campus was crowded with people just like us.... so excited to capture such a special and important milestone! The area in front of Heppner Hall was a huge party with champagne bottles and confetti guns popping off every few minutes. It was a scene!


We took full advantage of the celebration, popping champagne, not once.... but twice. I think made Payton throw her cap 417 times.... blowing confetti... and just generally having a blast! I can't wait to go back and help more graduates celebrate!!
