Congrats Katie! A Class of 2023 Laguna Beach Senior Session!

An Orange County Senior Photo Session with Katie from Tesoro High School, Class of 2023!

Katie is the daughter of one of my son's favorite teachers, so I was thrilled when she asked me to take her senior photos. I can't tell you how much fun I had with Katie during her photo session because she was up for ANYTHING I threw at her. Whether it was laying down in the sand, or ending up knee deep in the water in jeans, her answer was always YES. It makes a huge difference in the session to go with the flow, not to think too hard about what we are doing, and embrace the process. I think that really comes across in the images from Katie's session.

I also loved her wardrobe choices of a classic white sundress to start, and then we moved into a more casual look with jeans and white tank top. We incorporated her letterman's jacket into the session as well which she earned from El Toro High School, but then transferred to Tesoro where she continued on as captain of the women's soccer team. We also wanted to capture her aspiration to become a nurse, so we included her stethoscope into a few images.

Katie and I had such an amazing time getting to know each other that I asked her to work with me this fall to assist during a few crazy days at the Christmas Tree Farm. I loved catching up with her on getting her EMT certification.... she is a woman on a mission and is going to accomplish so much in her life!
