The perfect setting for your Christmas Card photos!

I love the cheesy Hallmark movies... you know, the ones where the plot is the same in every movie. Christmas of 2011, I was hugely pregnant. My son was due on December 10th. And I would wake up in the middle of the night, uncomfortable and unable to sleep. So I'd go out to the couch and they were ALWAYS on, no matter what time it was. So I'd watch them and eventually fell asleep, but because the plot was the same, I always knew the ending.

So when I designed my Christmas Tree Farm mini sessions, I wanted to bring a little bit of those picturesque Christmas scenes to Orange County. Peltzer Pines Christmas Tree Farm in Silverado Canyon is the perfect location. A family owned and operated farm, nestled in the canyon, quiet and surrounded by rolling hills, you almost forget you are in suburban Orange County.

I found the perfect vintage red pickup truck and filled it full of plaid pillows and blankets. My husband built me a Christmas Tree Stand so your kiddos can pretend to sell you the perfect tree. And they love to climb in my miniature VW Bus and Truck to help bring that tree home!

Most of my sessions do not include props but I make an exception for Christmas, but I never want it to overwhelm my subjects or distract from their smiling faces, laughter or the love that I capture in my images.
